These Fire Department Heroes Rescued A Furry Friend From A Car Engine

When our tiny feline friends look for shelter from the elements, they oftentimes choose places that can put them in even more danger. That’s why it’s always SUPER important to tap your tires and car engine if it’s been raining, snowing, especially hot, or cold. There could be a tiny baby that crawled his or her way up into the innards of your car.

That’s exactly what happened in a Sacramento, CA, McDonald’s parking lot…

Luckily for this little guy, firemen were there to save the day.

KITTEN RESCUE: The crew from Truck 16 removed a trapped kitten from the engine compartment of a car in a McDonalds parking lot today. McNugget was transported to the Front Street Animal Shelter, where he will be available for adoption after being medically cleared.

He still needs a checkup and a bath, but it looks like the aptly named McNugget is going to be okay.

We found one of my beloved family cats under the hood of an Isuzu Trooper in a supermarket parking lot…so remember to rap your hoods!
